Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah information A new Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah class is starting this October! We will study together once a week, on Thursdays at 6 pm, from October 15, 2009 until April 3, 2010 at which time students will be called to the torah on Shabbat Chol Hamoeid Pesach. What better time to be called to the Torah than during the holiday, which expresses our deepest joy and spiritual enlightenment than the celebration of our freedom, from Egypt? There are no pre-requisites for this class, although one must be a member of the congregation. We will study liturgy, Hebrew, trope, and Torah.
