Hebrew Prayerbook, Level 1
11 Thursdays, 6:15 - 7:15 pm, starting October 27, 2011

Take the first step and begin to study the letters and vowels of the Hebrew Alphabet, and find the keys that unlock all spiritual doors. By the end of the course students will develop the ability to decode any Hebrew text including those in our prayer book, Torah and commentaries. No previous knowledge of Hebrew required.

Cost: $100 (financial assistance is available).
Required text: Aleph Isn’t Tough can be purchased at the first class.

11 Thursdays, 7:20-8:20 pm, starting October 27

Do you know the Hebrew alphabet but are still not happy with your ability to follow the service, or understanding the meaning of the words? In this class, we will learn the themes of the prayers, learn simple Hebrew grammar, recognize key words and root as we build the skills towards a full participation in the service with confidence.

Cost: $100 (financial assistance is available). This class needs a minimum of 8 registered students.
