The Mitzvah Kitchen: Come for the food, deliver for the mitzvah
The Mitzvah Kitchen is an opportunity to bake and deliver fresh challah to congregants in need on a weekly basis. In addition to baking challot every week, our own Mitzvah Kitchen chef (and Rodef Sholom member) Jeff Kirshbaum will teach congregants of all ages to cook up a different "Jewish" dish every week. Here's the deal: if you come to cook/bake, we ask that you also be prepared to deliver a challah or three to people in need. Come for just an hour or stay for all three. Individuals always welcome; we ask that groups (chavurot, religious school classes, etc., contact Jerrine at 479-3441 x 3004 to reserve a space.
