Our Shabbat Welcomers are a group of people who volunteer to welcome people as they arrive for services on Shabbat. Welcomers generally arrive about half an hour to 45 minutes before services start. Some of the things the Welcomers do include:
• Saying "Shabbat shalom" to people as they arrive If you would like to be a Shabbat Welcomer, please let us know. You can welcome just once to try it out, or twice a year, or once a month, or whatever fits your schedule. If you would like to be a Welcomer but can't stand for very long, we have a stool available for you to sit on.
