At Congregation Rodef Sholom we have found that offering opportunities for learning outside of our busy lives allows us to connect in deeper and more meaningful ways.

Kenneth Jordan Levy Family Camp Weekend: in 2012 our Family Camp Weekend will take place on the weekend of March 16 through 18!
Our annual Family Camp Weekend, held at Camp Newman in Sonoma County in the hills above Santa Rosa, is a real Shabbaton - a wonderful opportunity to meet other families and clergy, build community, pray and play together.  In 2012 our Family Camp Weekend will take place on the weekend of March 16 through 18.

Family Camp gives me the chance to leave all my stresses a t home and really enjoy Shabbat.  I get to learn, reflect, spend time with friends and meet other temple members that I might not get to know otherwise.            -- Karen Green

Just when you though you knew a lot of people, you head to Family Camp where you don't just meet more people -- you get to know them! -- Jacquie Gribens

November B'nai Mitzvah Retreat
Our annual B'nai Mitzvah Retreat is offered to the families of each B'nai Mitzvah class each year.  At the retreat we celebrate Shabbat together and our prayer service is filled with opportunities for parent and student participation, from reading/chanting from the parsha to lifting and dressing the Torah or having an aliyah (reciting the blessing before and after the torah reading.) We guarantee you and your son/daughter time to bond and to focus on the momentous and monumental changes that are/will be happening in your lives in the coming months and years, not to mention a healthy dose of Shabbat rest from the hustle and bustle of your lives here in Marin.

From time to time we also offer other retreats, from adult-only study weekends to grade-specific weekends.
