Fifth Friday 6:15 pm Healing Service - A search for wholeness
On the fifth Shabbat of each month, when they occur, we focus the 6:15 pm Shabbat service on those in need of r'fua sh'lema, complete healing. At this soothing and contemplative service, we draw strength from each other with personal stories and personal prayers. Whether you are in need of a quiet service or healing, please join us. Caregivers are especially welcome. The fifth Friday healing services for 2010 will take place on January 29, April 30, October 29, and December 31, 2010. In addition, we offer a healing service on Yom Kippur afternoon. To hear and download prayers for and songs of healing recorded by our Rodef Sholom clergy, click here. The summer has come to a close. 5771 is nearly upon us. Join us for a night of introspective questioning and a collective look towards the new year. Together we will change the mantels on the Torah to white, we'll sing and we'll reflect back and look ahead to a good year.
Sunday, October 24: Save the date and look for more information coming soon.
