Join us on Sunday afternoon May 2 for a gathering hosted by Rabbi Stacy Friedman. The entire Congregation is welcome.
At the same time we will want to be sure that everyone considers their long-term plans and how Rodef Sholom fits in. As we hear from so many, "Rodef Sholom has given me more than I can ever give back." For those who have already informed the Congregation of their legacy commitment -- thank you. The L'Dor V'Dor Honor Roll is listed here .
Below is a message from Board President David Rudnick.
Rodef Sholom has been our spiritual home for the last 16 years — where we have been inspired and found joy, celebrated and mourned, built community, and participated in the holy work of repairing the world. For us, the presence of a strong vibrant synagogue was essential to where we wanted to put down roots, and we feel a responsibility to ensure that the next generation of Jewish families has the same opportunity. The endowment, funded by planned giving, is a critical way that we keep the synagogue strong and affordable.
We also believe that one of the most important gifts we can leave to our children is the example of lives committed to building communities and tzedakah. Our planned gift to the Rodef Sholom endowment comes from this desire to provide both financial support to the synagogue and a tangible example of generosity to our children as part of our legacy.
We invite you to join us in making a planned gift to Rodef Sholom and joining the members of the Legacy Circle. Please click HERE to register and attend.
