Rodef Sholom is excited for Jeremy Goldwasser to bring his musical talents to our January 20, 2023 Shabbat services! Listen to him in person or virtually, as he accompanies Cantor David on flute, and read on to learn more about him.

How long have you been in the music world and playing (flute)?

I've been playing music for a little over a decade now.

Who is your biggest musical influence and inspiration?
My biggest musical inspiration is the Israeli violinist, Itzhak Perlman. Despite having been wheelchair-bound his whole life due to polio, Perlman is among the world's most beloved classical soloists.

What is your favorite memory at Rodef Sholom?
My favorite memory was my Bar Mitzvah in 2012.

Do you have any plans for the future regarding your music?
I plan to perform with the UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra for as long as I am in grad school - so, several years...
