Rodef Sholom 7th graders continue their learning together in our Gesher program as a part of our teen night at the synagogue every Wednesday. Gesher enables our students to continue to deepen relationships with each other as they journey with their classmates through middle school and the b’nai mitzvah experience.
GESHER (5:30 - 8:00 PM)
Wednesday Gesher is a time for our students to build community and learn Jewish values, to discuss and struggle with our tradition. New this year, our Gesher teens will participate in opportunities that include cooking, Fire Circle, social justice, art, yoga, Jewish law and much more together. Ultimately, our students learn valuable lessons from our rich tradition that teach character traits that enhance their Jewish soul.
Gesher will begin at 5:30pm with dinner with our Midrasha teen program and will conclude with a special closing in the Sanctuary each week with the rest of our teen community at 8:00pm.
