Remembering Feng Shan Ho, the "Chinese Schindler": The Untold Story of a Hero of the Holocaust

In 1938-39, Dr. Feng Shan Ho, a Chinese diplomat posted in Vienna, saved thousands of Austrian Jews from the peril of Nazi Germany by issuing visas for them to travel to Shanghai.
 
On January 27, his daughter, Pulitizer Prize-winning journalist Manli Ho, who will recount her father's heroic and inspirational story. The presentation will be followed by a discussion including Rodef Sholom families who fled the Holocaust and successfully emigrated to Shanghai.
