Each year our congregation produces an extraordinary accounting of their mistakes from the past year and hopes for the coming year. A selection of those Vidui are read aloud to the congregation on Yom Kippur morning. It is a powerful moment in which we connect as a community. While we listen to these anonymous heart outpourings, we recognize voices that sound familiar. Indeed, we often hear voices that sound like ourselves.
This page is a place for contemplation and ground-level honesty. You are encouraged to let your thoughts flow, and write what's in your heart free from self-editing and judgement. Do not need to fill in your name or email. Trust that your submission is completely anonymous.
If you choose to write your vidui and place it in the box in the lobby, sealing the envelope will indicate you don't want your thoughts read aloud during Yom Kippur.
