7th-Grade GESHER Program
Congregation Rodef Sholom is excited to offer Gesher (Bridge), a hallmark program for 7th grade families. Gesher is for all families with students in the 7th grade, independent of where (or if) you are on your B’Mitzvah journey!
The pillars of the Gesher program are Jewish literacy, values, and social action. For 1¼ hours on occasional Sunday mornings and three special Friday night Shabbat services, you and your child will have the opportunity to learn together, get involved with social action, and engage in meaningful conversations. As your students enter their young teen years and take further steps towards independence, Gesher provides a unique space to build and strengthen family, peer, and community connections!
Classes for 2024-25 will be held at Rodef Sholom on Sunday mornings (9:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.) on the following dates (Friday night Shabbat program dates TBD):
