The practice of sitting shiva is one of the most sacred rituals in Jewish tradition. A shiva leader creates space for mourners to grieve and share memories of their loved ones as the community comes together in care and support. At Congregation Rodef Sholom we believe our community is stronger when our members are empowered to lead shiva minyanim. If you feel called to become a shiva leader we invite you to join this training. Prior knowledge of Jewish prayer is helpful, but not required.
